Earth Hour
Last year, East Lothian was lights-out champions, and this week WWF gave East Lothian the first award.
WWF’s Earth Hour is the world’s biggest annual event to highlight people and wildlife threatened by climate change. This year’s event is on Saturday 26 March. You can find out more about it, and maybe sign up, at WWF’s Earth Hour site.
Reduce your carbon foot print!
Our Good Food Year event went really well, lots of people came to get advice on veg growing, composting and reducing food waste, and there was quite a bit of interest in fruit mapping and allottments. Go to our facebook page to see photos.
Our Earth Hour Supper at Peter Potter was sold out, and a great success. On top of that, we are very proud that East Lothian have been crowned Earth Hour “Lights-Out” champions.
